ALFA ROMEO GIULIA 1600 SPIDER, 1962
First registered in Frankfurt, Germany in October 1962, this beautiful European market LHD Giulia Spider enjoyed just one owner until changing hands for the first time in 2012.
The car was then treated to a restoration by its second owner, the brief clearly being to achieve a ‘concours’ standard motor car. Since completion, the Alfa has covered just over 4,000 dry miles and accordingly the condition remains very near concours to this day.
Making this Giulia particularly rare and desirable, the original engine remains in place, this too having been comprehensively rebuilt. Despite initial appearances, all Alfa engines are not the same and with the escalation in values, it has become an increasingly crucial consideration.
Finished in Rosso Alfa and trimmed in black leather piped red, this Giulia Spider is offered directly from the significant collection of a particularly discerning collector and is accompanied by its Alfa Romeo Classiche ‘Certificato di Origine’.
