ALFA ROMEO 1750 Spider Veloce, 1969

One of the 494 original Right Hand Drive 1750 Spider Veloce built by the Factory, this quite exceptional example was completed on 3rd February 1969 and sold to the supplying dealership on 10th June 1969. Crucially in today’s market, the car is still fitted with its original engine and is supported by an Alfa Romeo Certificato di Origine.

This example, destined for the South African market, was sold new in Johannesburg.

In 2017, the then owner of over 20 years commissioned the respected Crossley & Webb to restore the car. Clearly not a man to do things by halves, the Alfa was restored and finished to a very high standard indeed, something which I hope is apparent from the photographs here. In 2022 this immaculate Alfa was acquired by a UK based collector and, forming part of a large collection, has inevitably seen little use recently; although it has continued to be maintained in a road-ready state.
